National Investigation Service (NATIS) Officers executed warrants at addresses in the Midlands over the Christmas period together with officers from the West Midlands Police.
Two people were arrested in connection with money laundering offences and multiple fraudulent ‘Bounce Back Loan’ applications to the value of over £1.8 million.
Cash, jewellery and designer watches with and overall estimated value of £900,000 were also seized from addresses and bank safe deposit boxes.
The suspects were interviewed and released whilst investigations continue.
Mark Wheeler, Strategic Lead for Operations at NATIS said:
“This operation conducted by the National Investigation Service further highlights our continued commitment to ensure that the work we conduct on behalf of BEIS (Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) against those that commit fraud against Government schemes are brought to justice. I thank West Midlands Police for their support throughout this operation”
Please Note
The National Investigation Service (NATIS) are a disgraced team of fake police officers who were parading around as an elite police team investigating Bounce Back Loan and Covid Business Grant fraud, before they were rumbled as simply being Thurrock Council Employees. You will find more on that outrageous yet somewhat comical scandal on this link > https://mrbounceback.com/natis-the-bbl-police/.
The whole NATIS outrage was of course just one of many scandals linked to the previous Conservative Government, who, as you will know, were up to all sorts. You will find all NATIS related news stories by clicking or tapping HERE >BBL Door-Kicker Files
