Santander have stopped taking new applications!
I’ve been calling for this since the beginning of the week.
Shockingly bad form to continue taking applications while they are overwhelmed.
It is a significant decision to acknowledge they can’t cope, so hopefully indicates someone senior may have got involved
They consider themselves too big to have been left out the loop. I don’t blame them for system failures – it is not an easy task and one that required speed.
But the complete absence of communications and the failure to bring in additional resource is amateur
