I Opened a Lloyds Account Being a Halifax Customer with Ease

Hi been following for a while, great work! I’ve been running business account from personal Halifax account and registered on the 4th May for a Starling account – Still not card to date despite requesting a replacement. Decided to look at LLoyd’s at the weekend.

Opened a personal account in minutes on Saturday night and was then able to open a business account. Business account opened and confirmed on Monday morning and I was then able to apply for the BBL.

Received email Bounce Back Loan Scheme Facility Letter to say they were able to offer a loan subject to their checks. No further updates.

Their online banking registration takes up to 12 days to open – Contacted customer support on Twitter and they have advised there is no way I can get an update on the status of my loan application despite now being a customer with 2 accounts (albeit without internet banking).

Just wanted to let you know in case it was of any help to your new Lloyd’s followers. (Waiting on further response from customer support).
