Mr Bounce Back “Fireside Chatline” Need Someone to Talk to? Give Me a Call

Do not sit there worrying alone, if you have something worrying you about your Bounce Back Loan, feel free to give me a call you can do so in complete confidence and it will be me taking the calls no one else.

I trialled a new idea, in layman’s terms, I sat here with my mobile, and made it known that I would be happy to chat to anyone about anything that people may be worrying with their BBL, from missed payments, defaults, or anything else.

The phone calls came in thick and fast, and as such I have decided to offer this service on an ongoing basis, as there is obviously a need for it currently. I have been calling people back for ages if the truth be known, but feel its easier for people if they have my number, rather than them having to email in or message me on Twitter etc first.

I am not offering legal or financial advice and do not give me any of your personal or business banking details etc, but what I will be offering you is someone to talk to, for believe me, in the last two years I have seen everything regarding BBLs, and I do mean everything.

It can be a lonely place when something is playing on your mind, much more so when it’s a Bounce Back Loan, so please do not fear phoning me up, you can withhold your number if you like, and anything you tell me will be in complete confidence.

I am not charging anybody anything to phone me up, as it is my website subscribers and those who have kindly donated that allow me to spend so much time on this bizarre little job, I have given myself.

BBL Lenders and Complaints Coming In

Here are just some of the complaints and feedback I am getting on the Fireside Chatline:

Third parties contacting business owners, many confused by the scheme who had never borrowed before, when the scheme was live, charging a commission (often a percentage of the BBL) to complete the BBL application form, looking back some now worried those third parties, many of whom have vanished may or have done something wrong when applying.

People telling me they have since found out some of those third parties are criminals who use threats against the person when someone now asks them questions with reference to their applications.

– I have alerted the right people about this as its terrifying SMEs may be forced to take the insolvency route when under threats or duress to do so and not mentioning the reasons for their insolvency or possible BBL wrongdoing.

People being told to wait until they default before additional help and support will be forthcoming.

When banks call back your phone rings for a second or two then stops, meaning unless you are lightning fast you cannot take/answer the call and then have to try and get the bank to call you back.

BBL lender designated debt collectors repeatedly saying the BBL scheme is messed up and agreeing with customers it’s all messed up.

“Account Reviews” (sometimes call “safeguarding”) sees the bank employee talking down to customers like they are guilty of whatever it is they suspect or in most cases erroneously believe they have been up to BBL mischief, instead of fact finding to see if they did anything wrong etc.

One lender not offering PAYG and proving difficult to contact.

Outrageously long call times on hold to get through to lenders BBL support team, some of whom it appears are locked in a deep underground bunker and cannot be contacted directly by you, other staff have to contact them to get them to contact you, adding even long stress times for those needing rapid support and someone to talk to.
