Barclays sent me a letter saying they are closing my account. In two months time Barclays are probably blocking these customers out of BBLS but not necessarily closing their accounts.
I have the Barclays app but do not see the BBLS on there, they have probably blocked it on my APP . Ask about seeing red flash and can you see the BBLS on your APP if they have one.
Barclays need to inform these customers so they can either update their information or apply from another source.
I have Since I have opened one with Tide not releasing they are not doing BBLS at present, so I have applied for BBL through TSB along with a Business account, still awaiting a response which I expect will not be until early next week, TSB staff are working all weekend.
