Today is decision day for Conister, so all eyes will be on them today to see if they are going to right the wrongs of the past week. As is always the case, when I know I will let everyone know, so keep the feedback from your experiences feeding into me.

NatWest for what its worth are still closing the accounts of some people they have approved for a Bounce Back Loan, they do so not long after they pay the money into your account. Something is triggering a red flag with them right at the final stage of the process.

Trying to make sense of what that is though is hard, as from what I have seen many people who do have accounts with NatWest, apply for a BBL and are then approved, paid and then have their accounts closed have been customers of NatWest for many years, in some cases decades

One newspaper that has run with that story is The Guardian, so if you have just experienced the same read more about NatWest Bounce Back Loan account closures Here.

Seen a trend of applicants complaining they have been unable to apply with Barclays due to the banks application system telling them they were not in business before March this year, even though that is not the case.

I will look into that, however Barclays are prone to website errors, and if you have only recently opened a business account with them it does take a few days before their BBL application section of your app or online banking will appear.

As it currently stands the Bounce Bank Loan scheme is due to end on November the 4th. Therefore, times is seriously running out for anyone still trying to open an account with the tiny number of banks that are allowing new customers to sign up for a new account then apply for a Bounce Back Loan.

It can take many weeks to open an account with some of those banks then apply for a BBL so very soon there will come a time before and before the end of the scheme when it is going to be highly unlikely you will get a new account never mind a BBL with some banks.
