The British Business Bank Given a Well Deserved Slapping by The Public Accounts Committee Over Their Lacklustre Approach and Insufficient Due Diligence to Approve Greensill As An Accredited CBILS and CLBILS Lender

Emergency Fundraiser

Can you help support the Bounce Back Loan helpline? If you are in a position to make a donation it would be gratefully received, and will allow me to continue to be here, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, for everyone calling the Helpline. I can only continue with your support. Alternatively, you can of course subscribe to the website.

It is good to see the buffoons over at the British Business Bank finally getting their comeuppance regarding their role in the Government Covid Loan Schemes.

Having caused untold stress and anguish to many SMEs due to the way they handled the Bounce Back Loan scheme, it has now been proven beyond any reasonable doubt that they were just as gormless when it came to the other Government Loan schemes, such as the CBILS and CLBILS Scheme.

Their inability to do what was expected of them meant a huge amount of our money is now at risk, all of which is outlined in the Public Accounts Committee report, which you will find below into the “Lessons from Greensill Capital: accreditation to business support schemes”
