Secretary of State, Peter Kyle is Prosecuting People Who Did the Right Thing and Repaid a Bounce Back Loan in Full by Utilizing the Voluntary Repayment Scheme – Claiming the Initial Guidance on that Scheme and the Covid Corruption Commissions’ Op-Ed in Newspapers Should be Ignored and the Latter Guidance Released Months Later Should be Used! Sticking a Knife in the Back of Rachel Reeves’ and Her Flagship Scheme

I am shocked to have to report that Secretary of State, Peter Kyle has decided to prosecute people who did the right thing, during the time the Voluntary Repayment Scheme was live, that being people who utilized that scheme and repaid a Bounce Back Loan in full, a BBL on which there were any type of questions surrounding the legitimacy of.

The Lawyer acting on behalf of Peter Kyle MP in his role as Secretary of State has stated Peter would respond to the accused and explain/comment why he is going against the initial terms of the Voluntary Repayment Scheme, alas he hasn’t done so.

I am currently safeguarding the accused in this case and checking in on that person regularly, who, by the way has been certified by their Doctor, as being highly vulnerable and prone to suicide thoughts/actions.

The Doctor’s Note has been passed to Peter and the Lawyer, who seem not to care.

A date has been set for the case.

WTF was the Voluntary Repayment Scheme?

Just a reminder for those who haven’t seen it, below is the press release and press op-ed from the Government and Covid Corruption Commissioner, the former was posted on the Government website at the time, offering everyone the chance to repay a BBL on which there are some questions surrounding the legitimacy of, such as a simple mistake when applying, on a “no questions asked” basis and “those who don’t take this chance to repay any outstanding money could face prosecution”.

Well it seems Peter Kyle has decided to go against that scheme/offer, sticking two fingers up to Rachel Reeves who instigated the scheme via the Covid Corruption Commissioner and is giddy with excitement at taking people to court even after they have repaid the BBL in full.

This is how the Voluntary Repayment Scheme was announced, make your own mind up on what it was offering (be aware they sneakily changed the wording to offer nothing 56 and 76 days after the scheme went live).

Something is utterly filthy about what they are doing to people who took advantage of a Government scheme and did the right thing and are now facing a Judge for doing the right thing.
